Unit 1 was walking eastbound on Kauffman Ave. Unit 2 was traveling northbound on Kauffman Ave near 1614 Kauffman Ave. Unit 1 was improperly crossing Kauffman Ave when they were stuck by Unit 2 who had the right of way. 2022-45147 On 11/07/2022 at 1832 hrs. I responded to 1614 Kauffman Ave. Fairborn; Greene County; Ohio on a report of a person being struck by a car. The victim who was struck was reported not to be breathing at the time of the call. Upon my arrival I found the victim laying in the road and the truck that struck the victim nearby. I walked over to the victim to visually assess him. I detected no signs of breathing and blood had began to pool around his head. I attempted to call out to him to see if there was any response. There was no response. Fairborn medics arrived on scene. I returned to my vehicle to grab my camera to take pictures. Shortly after starting pictures I learned that there was video of the crash captured by one of the cameras at the Moose Lodge at 1550 Kauffman Ave. I recorded the video of the crash on Ofc. Schroeder's camera. Ofc.
