On October 28; 2022 at approximately 11:56 AM Unit 1 was crossing Morse Road east of Sandy Lane Rd and Morse Rd from North to South; Unit 1 was crossing outside the cross-walk. Unit 2 was traveling east on Morse Rd when they struck Unit 1. The traffic signal for Unit 2 was green. Columbus Fire Medic 24 responded and pronounced Unit 1 deceased at scene. Unit 1 was found to be at fault due to crossing outside the cross walk while east bound traffic had the green light. Columbus Police Accident Investigation Unit responded to scene for further investigation. Unit 2 was impounded for further processing by Columbus Police Accident Investigation Unit and towed by Pro-Tow to the City of Columbus Impound Lot.
