This accident, involving 2 vehicles occurred on Thursday, October 13th 2022 at approximately 9:32 pm. The driver of silver Honda (1996) ran stop sign. Injuries were reported. An officer from Columbus Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.

The collision occurred in the intersection of Brentnell Ave and Holt Ave. Witness stated she was behind Unit 2 heading westbound on Holt Ave at the intersection of Holt Ave and Brentnell Ave. Witness stated Unit 2 was stopped at the stop sign then proceeded to make a left turn to go south on Brentnell Ave. Witness stated Unit 1 ran the stop sign at a high rate of speed and struck Unit 2 as it was proceeded through the intersection. When Officers arrived on scene driver of Unit 1 was trapped in her vehicle. CPD Medic 18 was able to get the driver out of Unit 1 and transported her to Grant in critical life threating condition. Officers were able to help the driver of Unit 2 from his vehicle and he was transported by CPD Medic 20 to OSU East in stable condition.
