This accident, involving 2 vehicles occurred on Wednesday, October 12th 2022 at approximately 1:31 pm. The driver of red Nissan (2015) ran stop sign. Injuries were reported. An officer from RICHFIELD Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.
Unit 1 was travelling north on Medina Line Road. Unit 2 was travelling east on W.Streetsboro Road (S.R.303). Unit 1 failed to stop at the posted stop sign of the tee intersection. Unit 1 continued into the intersection; swerved left; and into the right of way of Unit 2. Unit 2 attempted to evade Unit 1 by swerving left of center before collision. Unit 1 driver was trapped in compartment while the occupant female passenger was injured and lying in passengers seat and across center console. Unit 2 driver was sitting in the drivers position; alert and speaking. The drivers of both Unit 1 and Unit 2 were transported to hospitals by responding F.D. Female occupant from Unit 1 was airlifted via life flight. r n r nNote: Unit 2 driver stated; he has onboard video recording in the vehicle.
