This accident, involving 1 vehicle occurred on Tuesday, August 23rd 2022 at approximately 7:30 am. The driver of gold Buick (2004) drove off road. Injuries were reported. An officer from CIRCLEVILLE (TOWNSHIP OF) Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.

Unit 1 was traveling northbound on Island Road; ran off the road to the right; over corrected ran off the road to the left; and struck a fence at 1170 Island Road. The vehicle continued; rolled once and continued into the water where it came to rest. The occupant/driver of the vehicle was located outside of the vehicle; but still submerged in the water. It is unknown what time this traffic accident occurred. The occupant/driver was pronounced dead at the scene and the traffic crash remains under investigation. See OH-2.
