Hilliard PD initiated a traffic stop in the area of Fishinger Blvd and Ridgemill Dr. Unit 1 took off from the officer eastbound on Fishinger Blvd. Hilliard PD did not pursue Unit #1. Unit 1 continued eastbound on Fishinger Blvd out of sight of Hilliard PD. Unit 1's driver lost control and ran off the right side of the roadway then struck at tree in front of 3555 Fishinger Blvd. Unit 1 continued on right shoulder of Fishinger Blvd and struck a light pole just east of 3555 Fishinger Blvd. The impact with the pole forced Unit #1 back onto Fishinger Blvd. Unit 1's driver was transported to Riverside Hospital by CFD Medic 30; Unit 1's front side passenger was pronounced at the scene by Upper Arlington Medic 72. Unit 1's backseat passenger was transported to OSU Main hospital by Norwich Township Medic 83 and then pronounced at 4:11 am.
