Unit 1 reported striking an object while driving southbound on Indianola Ave; north of Morse Rd and south of Indian Summer Dr. Driver of Unit 1 thought they had struck a deer but later found a shoe. Responding officer found the Victim/Unit 2 laying face down; unresponsive in a ditch where Unit 1 reported striking something. There was part of a side mirror; white in color; near where Unit 2 was found. There were 2 shoes near Unit 2's body; a pair of glasses; and a cell phone as well.
