Additional Narrative

Unit 1 was making a left turn to go S B on Tiedeman Road from the I-480 W B exit ramp. Unit 2 was traveling N B on Tiedeman Road and ran the red light at the intersection of Tiedeman Road N B and I-480 W B exit ramp. Unit 2 struck the left side of Unit 1. The operator of Unit 1 suffered moderate injuries and was transported to the hospital. The operator of Unit 2 suffered fatal injuries and was transported to the hospital. Unit 2 was at fault.
