This accident, involving 2 vehicles occurred on Friday, July 29th 2022 at approximately 1:25 pm. The driver of blue; dark Nissan (1995) failure to yield. Injuries were reported. An officer from Columbus Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.

Unit #1 was traveling westbound on US 33. Unit # 2 was traveling eastbound on US 33. Unit #1 attempted to turn southbound from US 33 to Bixby Road; by crossing US 33 eastbound traffic. Unit #1 failed to yield to unit #2. Unit # 2 struck unit #1. All involved parties were transported to local hospitals. The driver of unit #1 went to Grant hospital in stable condition by Madison Township Medic # 183. The passenger in unit #1 was transported to Mount Carmel East in critical condition by Madison Township medic 181. The driver in unit 2 was transported to Grant in stable condition by Columbus Fire Medic # 4.   On July 29; 2022 the passenger of Unit 1 succumb from her injuries while at the hospital. Time of death was 2:02pm and was pronounced by Doctor Nicole Vetter.  Charges are pending
