On 07 31 2022 at 0615 hours; SPD received a call of a car vs building MVA at the intersection of Progress & Alameda Drive. When officers arrived on scene we located Unit 1 which had struck the corner of the building at the address of 11792 Alameda Drive. Unit 1 appeared to have traveled west bound on Progress Drive; was driving reckless; in excess of the speed limit; with speeds estimated around 90 mph. Unit 1 did not appear to brake; and it veered off the roadway. It failed to stop at the stop sign at the intersection of Progress and Alameda Drive. Unit 1 drove through the grass; crashed through the sign at 11792 Alameda Drive; then struck the corner of the building at this address. When the front end struck the corner of the building; it split the vehicle almost in half and the vehicle came to final rest about 15 feet away from the corner of building.
