Unit 1 (a pedestrian) was reported to be walking southbound in the northbound travel lanes of I-271N. Unit 2 was traveling northbound on I-271 N in an unspecified lane. Unit 2 struck Unit 1 and continued on without stopping and left the area. Unit 1 was fatally injured.
