Unit one was traveling southbound on Alabama Ave in the rain. Unit 1 drove off the roadway to the right into a ditch; struck a mailbox; and then came to rest after striking a tree. The passenger was ejected through the windshield and his injuries resulted in his death. Due to the severity of the crash; the Canton Metro Crash Team was called out and they will be submitting their own detailed report.
