Unit #1 was travelling S/B on SR 91. According to a witness; Unit #1 crossed over the center line; and went off the left side of the roadway. Unit #1 struck a traffic sign post; and a fire hydrant before striking a tree nearly head-on. The witness estimated that Unit #1 was travelling in excess of 50 MPH. The driver of Unit #1 appeared to have a medical emergency during the sequence of events. The driver of Unit #1 was extricated from the car; and died at the hosptial.
