This accident, involving 2 vehicles occurred on Monday, June 13th 2022 at approximately 6:30 pm. The driver of black Jeep (2017) failure to yield. Injuries were reported. An officer from Columbus Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.

Unit 01 was traveling westbound on Central College Road making a left turn southbound onto High Rock Drive. Unit 02 was traveling eastbound Central College Road when Unit 01 turned left in front of them. According to video shown to officers at scene by listed witness #1 Unit 02 attempted to brake when Unit 01 made the left turn in front of them. Unit 02 driver was ejected from the motorcycle. By standers and responding officers rendered aid until CFD Medic 29 arrived. Medic 29 transported the rider of Unit 02 to Mount Carmel East hospital where they were pronounced deceased at 7:06pm. CPD Accident Investigation Unit detectives responded to process the scene. Both Units 01 and 02 were towed from scene by Pro Tow and taken to the CPD Impound Lot for evidence.
