This accident occurred on Tuesday, May 10th 2022 at approximately 7:24 pm. Injuries were reported. An officer from Lorain Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.

Unit #3 and Unit #4 were stopped southbound on Grove Avenue (S.R. 57) at the Homewood Drive intersection. Unit #2 was W/B on Homewood Drive proceeding through the Grove Avenue (S.R. 57) intersection. Unit #1 was northbound on Grove Avenue (S.R. 57) going an unsafe speed when he; according to an independent witness; went through a red light at the Homewood Drive intersection; and struck Unit #2's driver's side. Unit #1 then went off the roadway to the left; struck a sign; entered the southbound lane of travel of Grove Avenue striking Unit #3; overturned; and then struck Unit #4 where the vehicle came to final rest. Unit #1 and Unit #4 caught fire after the vehicles came to final rest. Unit #2 after impact was pushed northbound on Grove Avenue; left the right way to the left; and overturned onto it's passenger side where it came to final rest.
