Unit # 1 was traveling east on Scioto Darby Rd west of Woodson Rd; Unit # 1 failed to maintain control of their vehicle and ran off of the road left and the driver's side of Unit # 1 struck AEP Pole # S1428. CFD Engine # 30 Responded to scene and pronounced the Driver of Unit # 1 deceased at 22:59. Officers contacted CPD AIU Detectives and they responded to process the scene. Franklin County Courner's Office responded and the driver of Unit # 1 was transported to the city morgue. Officers conducted an inventory of the vehicle and it was towed to the city impund lot for safekeeping; without further incident.
