This accident, involving 2 vehicles occurred on Friday, April 15th 2022 at approximately 11:24 pm. The driver of blue; dark Chevrolet (2012) left of center. Injuries were reported. An officer from TOLEDO Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.

Unit1 was traveling Westbound on W Bancroft St; near Maplewood Ave. At the same time Unit2 was traveling Eastbound on W Bancroft St. Unit2 crossed over the center yellow line into Unit1 path of travel. As a result; Unit2 struck Unit1 head on. Both drivers of each Unit were transported by TFD to Saint Vincent Hospital. This Unit arrived on scene after both drivers were transported of scene. On 04/16/2022 at 0009 hours the driver; Ricky Luster; of Unit2 was pronounced deceased by medical staff at Saint Vincent Hospital. The driver; Marisa Sotelo; of Unit1 was in critical but stable condition. This Unit was notified on scene that while TFD persons were rendering life saving aid to Luster they smelled the odor of an intoxicating beverage coming from his person. This Unit's body camera was present and active.
