This accident, involving 3 vehicles occurred on Thursday, March 10th 2022 at approximately 12:41 am. The driver of blue Chevrolet (1999) wrong way. Injuries were reported. An officer from TOLEDO Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.

Unit#1 was actively fleeing from police north bound on I-75 near Alexis Rd. Unit#1 exited the highway through the gore area just north of Alexis Rd. Unit#1 then turned around and traveled through the gore area again and the proceeded south in the north bound lanes of I-75. Unit#2 was traveling north on I-75 in the left lane. Unit #3 was also traveling north on I-75 in the center lane slightly behind Unit#2. Unit#1 continued south in the northbound center lane and then into the western most lane that was occupied by Unit#2. Unit#1 collided with Unit#2; causing Unit#1 to spin clockwise in front of Unit#3; where it collided with Unit#3. Unit#2 burst into flames upon impact; struck the center concrete barrier; and then traveled east across all lanes into a guard rail. Unit#3 drove off the right side of the roadway to final rest. Both occupants of Unit#1 were ejected from the vehicle and sustained life ending injuries.
