Unit 1 was walking in and out of the traffic lanes on Interstate 77 south near the 145.6-mile marker. Unit 2 was traveling south in the right lane on Interstate 77 near the 145.6-mile marker. The driver of Unit 2 stated he saw movement in the roadway ahead of him. The driver of Unit 2 stated he was switching lanes to avoid the movement when he noticed the movement was a person. The driver stated the person kept following the movement of his truck. The driver of Unit 2 stated Unit 1 was dressed in dark clothing and moved quickly in front of his truck as Unit 2 tried to change lanes. Unit 1 made impact with the front right of Unit 2. Unit 1 came to rest in the median. Unit 2 came to rest in the right lane.
