On the listed date and time Unit #1 was involved in a vehicle pursuit with Toledo Police crews. Unit #1 a portion of Alexis that was closed off due to line work being done by Toledo Edison. Unit #2 drove through the barricades that were set up. Unit #1 then struck Unit #2 which was parked. Unit #1 struck the front drivers side tire of Unit #2. This caused Unit #1 to go sideways. Unit #1 then began to roll. Unit #1 continued to slide. As it did this it slid into a pedestrian. After striking the pedestrian it continued until it struck a pole at Alexis and Ginger Tree. Unit #1 spin once more before coming to final rest. Operator of Unit #1 then fled from the vehicle on foot. After a short foot pursuit he was taken into custody. He was then transported to Toledo Hospital where he was treated. He was then transported to LCJ for his warrants. This incident will require further investigation. Also see RB# 007536-22
