This accident, involving 3 vehicles occurred on Wednesday, February 16th 2022 at approximately 9:11 am. The driver of orange Toyota (2016) failure to yield. Injuries were reported. An officer from Union (Township of) Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.

On Wednesday 02/16/2022 at approx. 0911 hours the Van Wert County Sheriff's Office received a 911 call of a 2 vehicle crash at that the intersection of US Rt 30 and Convoy Roads.  Unit#1 was East bound on Convoy Rd approaching the intersection of US Rt 30.  Unit #2 was  West bound on US Rt 30 approaching the intersection of Convoy Rd.  Unit #3 was also West Bound on US Rt 30 behind Unit#2.  Unit#1 failed to Yield the right away of Unit#2 and struck Unit #2.  Unit#1 spun around and came to rest in WB Lane of US Rt 30 facing NE.  After the impact from Unit #1; Unit#2 went off the right side of roadway and went air born rolling and striking the ditch on the North Side of US Rt 30. Unit #2 came to rest in the snow covered ditch right side up and facing NE.  Unit#3 was approx. 6 car lengths behind; saw the crash and drove through the scene.  Unit#3 was so close to the crash that it was hit by debris from the other two Units.  Unit#3 had some damage to the grill of the Unit.
