Unit 1 was walking NB crossing Polaris Pkwy in the marked crosswalk at Worthington Rd. Unit 2 was traveling WB on Polaris Pkwy in the center thru lane approaching Worthington Rd. Unit 2 entered the intersection with a green traffic signal striking Unit 1 with the front of the vehicle. Unit 1 struck the hood; windshield; and top of the vehicle; and landed in the roadway. Unit 1 was transported by medics and pronounced deceased at the hospital. Crash Investigation unit called to the scene.
