Unit 2 was operating WB on IR 77 entrance ramp from IR 490 in the left exit lane for IR 77 SB. Unit 1 operated on the right side of Unit 2 in an attempt to pass. The left side of Unit 1 sideswiped the right side of Unit 2. Unit 1 then continued WB into the grass area between the IR 77 north and south bound entrance ramps; over a ditch; colliding with a tree; and coming to a final rest.
