Unit 1 operated EB on Carnegie Ave; well in excess of the posted speed limit. Unit 1 failed to stop for a red traffic light at E 79th St and struck Unit 2; which was NB on E 79th St. Unit 2 spun counter clockwise off the north side of Carnegie Ave and the rear of the vehicle struck a wooden utility pole before coming to rest facing west. Unit 1 rotated and came to final rest in the EB lanes of Carnegie; facing a easterly direction.
