This accident, involving 2 vehicles occurred on Wednesday, November 3rd 2021 at approximately 8:18 pm. The driver of gray GMC (2003) drove off road. Injuries were reported. An officer from Dayton Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.
On November 3; 2021 at approximately 2018 hours; Unit Number One was traveling south on Linsan Court at an unknown rate of speed; and when at Linden Avenue; drove over the west curb; and in so doing struck unit number two; who was standing on the northwest corner of the intersection of Linden Aveune and Linsan Court. Unit Number One then continued south across Linden Ave; drove over the south curb; rotated 90 dgrees and struck the Everyday Food Mart building at 1035 Linden Avenue (PS 937-258-3800). Unit Number Two came to a final rest on Linden Avenue in the first lane from the south curb. The driver of Unit Number One fled the scene with out properly identfying themselves as required by law. Unit Number Two was transported to the hospital where she later died.
