This accident, involving 2 vehicles occurred on Wednesday, September 1st 2021 at approximately 3:25 pm. The driver of black Toyota (2011) failure to yield. Injuries were reported. An officer from Paris (Township of) Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.
Unit 1 was exiting from US 33 West and attempting to turn left (southeast) onto Northwest Parkway. Unit 1 came to a stop sign and pulled out onto Northwest Parkway. Unit 2 was northwest on Northwest Parkway when Unit 1 crossed into his path. Unit 2 attempted to swerve and avoid a collision with Unit 1; but was not successful. Unit 2 collided with the drivers side of Unit 1. Unit 1 came to a final rest on the west side of the roadway; and Unit 2 came to a final rest in a turn lane in the center of the roadway.
