This accident, involving 3 vehicles occurred on Tuesday, August 3rd 2021 at approximately 2:35 pm. The driver of black Ford (2018) ran red light. Injuries were reported. An officer from Nelsonville Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.
Unit #1 was traveling North on Myers St; Unit #2 was traveling Northwest on East Canal Street and Unit #3 was traveling Southeast on West Canal Street. Unit # 3 had a red light; failed to cautiously enter the intersection and struck Unit #1. Unit #1 continued on and struck Unit #2 which was stopped at the traffic signal. Unit #3 continued off the north side of East Canal Street before coming to final rest.
