Unit #1 was northbound on St. Clair Avenue and failed to negotiate a curve to the right. Unit #1 crossed the center line before striking a curb and going off the left side of the roadway. Unit #1 continued off the roadway and struck a utility pole. Unit #1 overturned onto its side and slid into a sign where it came to final rest.
