This accident occurred on Monday, July 5th 2021 at approximately 4:26 pm. Injuries were reported. An officer from Dinsmore (Township of) Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.

Unit 1 was southbound on Interstate 75 in the left lane. Units 2; 3; 8; and 9 were stopped in the left lane. Units 4; 5; 6; and 7 were stopped in the right lane. Unit 1 rear-ended Unit 2; pushing Unit 2 into the rear of Unit 3. Unit 2 then struck Unit 4; caught fire; and struck the rear of Unit # 5. Unit 3 overturned and came to rest on its top in the left lane. Unit 1 swerved into the right lane and sideswiped Unit 5. Unit 1 rear ended; Unit 6; Unit 7; and sideswiped Unit 8. Units 1 and 8 went off the left side of the roadway; struck the median cable barrier; and came to rest. Unit # 9 was struck by gravel and debris from Unit # 1 traveling off the roadway. Unit 6 went off the right side of the roadway and came to final rest in the ditch. Unit # 9 came to a controlled final rest along the shoulder farther up the roadway. Unit # 4 backed up along the Interstate before coming to a controlled final rest.
