Unit #1 was northbound and Unit #2 was southbound; both on Columbia Road. Unit #1 went left of center and sideswiped the left rear of Unit #2. Unit #1 continued off the left side of the roadway where it struck a fire hydrant; a tree; a rock; and a utility pole.
