This accident, involving 2 vehicles occurred on Monday, May 10th 2021 at approximately 7:00 am. The driver of white Chevrolet (2006) ran stop sign. Injuries were reported. An officer from Montville (Township of) Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.
Unit #1 was traveling south on Clay Street (CR 0037). Unit #2 was traveling west on US Route 6. Unit #1 failed to stop at the stop sign and struck Unit #2's passenger side. Unit #2 was pushed aross the roadway by Unit#1 over a ditch; struck a utility pole; a tree; and overturned onto it's left side. Unit #1 drove across the roadway and came to final rest in the field area.
