Additional Narrative

Unit 1 was slowing or stopped in the southbound lane on SR-44 to make a left turn into a residence on the east side of the roadway. Unit 2 was traveling south on SR-44 and struck Unit 1 in the rear. The impact pushed Unit 1 forward where it came to rest in northbound lane on SR-44. Unit 2 continued off the left side of the roadway and came to rest on an embankment. The injuries for the driver of Unit 1 were fatal.
