Unit #2 was stopped on C.R. 176 stuck in telephone lines. A passerby stopped to assist Unit #2. Unit #1 was southbound on U.S. 127 and struck the low hanging telephone lines. The passerby sustsined fatal injuries after being struck by the telephone lines. Unit #1 continued southbound and came to controlled final rest on the west side of U.S. 127.
