The incident occurred on Roberts Rd.; approximately 100 yards East of International St. Unit #1 was traveling East on Roberts Rd.; from Interantional St. in the lane closest to the center line. Unit #2 was traveling West on Roberts Rd.; in the lane closest to the curb. Unit #3 was traveling behind unit #2 and heading West as well. Unit #1 went left of center and struck unit #2 head on. Unit #3 attempted to stop behind unit #2 and rear ended unit #2 with the front of unit #3. Witness #1 and witness #2 stated that unit #1 was driving all over the road and struck a light pole around the area of Roberts Rd. just East of Walcutt Rd. before going head on with unit #2. Witness #1 and witness #2 stated that they have dash camera of the incident. Witness #1 and witness #2 were in the same vehicle and driving behind unit #1 when the incident occurred. Unit #3 stated that unit #1 went left of center and observed unit #1 strike unit #2 head on. Unit #3 stated that they di not have any time to react. Unit #2 driver stated that she does not remember the accident. Offciers arrived on scene and observed an unconscious passenger in the front seat of unit #2. Officers broke the window and had to extract the passenger. Officer conducted CPR on the passenger. The passenger in the front seat of unit #2 was transported critical to Doctors West Hopsital and pronounced at 2018.
