This accident, involving 2 vehicles occurred on Saturday, November 6th 2021 at approximately 2:53 pm. The driver of blue Kia (2018) left of center. Injuries were reported. An officer from Findlay Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.

Unit 1 was traveling southbound in the 500 block of Bright Rd in the inside lane of travel. Unit 2 was traveling northbound in the 500 block of Bright Rd in the inside lane of travel. Unit 1 exited the southbound lanes and entered the northbound lane. Unit 1 struck Unit 2 in the front. Unit 1 suffered disabling damage to the front and was towed by Dick's Towing. Unit 2 suffered disabling damage and was towed by Mac and Bob's Towing. The operator of Unit 1 was transported to the Blanchard Valley Hospital by Hanco where she was later pronounced deceased. The operator of Unit 2 did not sustain any injuries. On 11-06-21 at 1539 hours I was dispatched to relieve Officer Rutter at Blanchard Valley Hospital so that he could perform aerial drone operations related to this accident. I arrived at BVH and relieved him. BVH staff was still in the process of attempting to perform life-saving efforts on Taylor Benson. At 1553 hours I was advised by BVH staff that she was declared deceased. I advised Sgt. Welch of this update. I took photographs of Taylor. I observed visible injuries to both of her knees. BVH staff advised me that the only other apparent injury was broken right thigh bone. This ended my involvement. Officer B. Deidrick #425 On 11/6/2021 Ofcr.
