ON SEPTEMBER 13TH 2021; UNIT #1 WAS TRAVELING EAST ON STATE ROUTE 718 IN THE AREA OF STEWART ROAD. UNIT #2 WAS TRAVELING WEST ON 718. WITNESS STATEMENTS AND ROADWAY EVIDENCE SUGGEST THAT UNIT #1 NEGOTIATED THE CURVE GOING LEFT OF CENTER INTO ONCOMING TRAFFIC. UNIT #1 STRUCK UNIT #2 OFF-SET HEAD ON BEFORE COMING TO FINAL REST NEARBY. THE DRIVER OF UNIT #1 WAS PRONOUNCED DECEASED ON SCENE. THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER OF UNIT #2 WERE TRANSPORTED TO UPPER VALLEY MEDICAL CENTER FOR MODERATE NON-LIFE THREATENING INJURIES.
