This accident, involving 3 vehicles occurred on Saturday, August 21st 2021 at approximately 8:53 pm. The driver of gray Honda (2006) improper lane change. Injuries were reported. Unit 1 was traveling eastbound on the Henderson Bridge; within the inside lane of travel. Unit 3 was traveling at a high rate of speed approaching Unit 1 from behind; within the same lane of travel. Unit 3 attempted to change lanes to the curb lane in attempts to pass Unit 1. Due to Unit 3's unsafe speed he continued towards the curb lane striking the curb causing him to re enter the inside lane of travel. In doing this; Unit 3 struck the front of Unit 1 causing Unit 3 to rotate counter clockwise and travel left of center into the westbound lanes of travel. Once Unit 3 crossed the double solid yellow lines; he was struck by Unit 2; who was west bound on the Henderson Bridge; traveling within the inside lanes of travel. A separation of Units was reached as both Units 2 and 3 rotated clockwise. Unit 2 came to final rest within the west bound lanes of travel. Unit 3 struck the curb on the north side of the Henderson Bridge leaving the roadway. Once outside the roadway; Unit 3 struck the guardrail where he came to final rest.
