UNIT # 1 WAS TRAVELING EAST ON SR-611 ( COLORADO AVE) AND PROCEEDED TO TRAVEL LEFT OF CENTER. UNIT # 1 CONTINUED TO TRAVEL EAST THROUGH A CONTINUOUS LEFT TURN ONLY LANE INTO THE WESTBOUND LANE OF TRAVEL. UNIT # 2 WAS TRAVELING WEST ON SR-611 ( COLORADO AVE ) WHEN UNIT # 2 WAS STRUCK HEAD ON BY UNIT # 1. UNIT # 3 WAS TRAVELING WEST BEHIND UNIT # 2 ON SR-611 (COLORADO AVE). WHEN UNIT # 2 WAS STRUCK BY UNIT # 1 HEAD ON; UNIT # 2 WAS PUSHED BACK TOWARD UNIT # 3 CAUSING THE DISTANCE TO BE CLOSED AT A GREATER RATE OF TIME. UNIT # 3 THEN STRUCK UNIT # 2 IN THE RIGHT REAR WITH UNIT # 3'S RIGHT FRONT. ALL UNITS CAME TO A FINAL REST ON THE WESTBOUND LANE OF TRAVEL. UNITS # 1 AND # 2 WERE FACING NORTHEAST AFTER A NON-CONTROLLED FINAL REST. UNIT # 3 HAD A CONTROLLED FINAL REST.
