Description

Additional Narrative

Unit 1 was traveling southbound on Oberlin Avenue in the curb lane approaching the intersection with Westwood Drive. Unit 2 was traveling eastbound on Westwood Drive attempting a left turn onto Oberlin Avenue. Unit 2 failed to yield the right of way to oncoming traffic and turned left to travel north on Oberlin Avenue Unit 1 collided with Unit 2. The operator of Unit 1 was ejected from his motorcycle and came to final rest within the intersection of Oberlin Avenue and Westwood Drive. Both Unit 1 and 2 came to final rest within the intersection. The operator of Unit 1 sustained fatal injuries. For additional information; refer to reconstruction report 21-18724.
