Unit 1 was traveling west on Euclid Avenue. Unit 1 crossed left of center; impacted the curb; ran off the roadway; impacted a telephone pole guy wire; became airborne; struck a traffic signal control box and the box s base; rolled onto it s right side and caught fire. Two occupants were helped from the vehicle by good samaritans. Police attempted to extricate the third; but the post-crash fire was too intense.
