Unit # 1 (Silver Honda Ridgeline) was traveling (north) on I-90 east approaching exit 148 SR-254 (Detroit Rd) in the far right lane. Unit # 1 proceeded off the right side of the roadway onto the grassy berm at the I-90 east and exit 148 split. Unit # 1 then proceeded back onto the roadway and over corrected then went off the left side of the roadway onto the grassy berm. Unit # 1 continued north alongside exit 148 on the bank of the hill prior to traveling onto the flat portion of the grass berm between I-90 east and ext 148 deceleration ramp. Unit # 1 then continued north and struck a tree with the right side of the unit as it continued north on the grassy berm. Unit # 1 then turned gradually northeast going up the descending portion; on the hill front end first into a ditch. Unit # 1 proceeded to get lift from the rear and drag the front end across the roadway as it started to flip end of end. while in motion and upside down Unit # 1 landed on top of Unit 2. Unit # 2 was stopped in the far right lane of I-90 east Exit 148 at SR-254. Unit # 1 then spun out Unit # 2 leaving unit # 2 facing southwest for its final rest. Unit # 1 came to final rest on its right side along the berm of SR-254 facing west.
