Unit 2 was operating WB on Bellaire Rd approaching the Gilmore Ave/Belleshire Ave intersection. Unit 1 was operating EB on Bellaire Rd passing the intersection. According to the driver of Unit 1 and the witness; Unit 1 was at a high rate of speed and traveled into the WB lanes; causing Unit 2 to swerve into the center turn lane. Unit 1 also entered the center turn lane and collided head on with Unit 2.
