This accident, involving 2 vehicles occurred on Tuesday, March 9th 2021 at approximately 6:15 am. The driver of red Ford (2010) improper crossing. Injuries were reported. An officer from Cleveland Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.
Unit 1 operated SB on London Rd; stopped at the railroad gate that was down with the lights flashing. Unit 1 went left of center around the gate; and attempted to cross the railroad tracks. An EB Norfolk Southern train on main track 2 collided with the right side of Unit 1; sending it in a NE direction; rolling over several times.
