Unit 1 was traveling NB in the 2000 block of SR 48; while Unit 2 was traveling SB. Unit 1; due to snow/slick covered roadways; lost traction with the rear of Unit 1. Unit 1's rear end slid to the right and then Unit 1 slid at an angle to the left and across the center line into the path of Unit 2. Unit 1 and Unit 2 collided at an angle; head on. Unit 1 came to rest in the ditch on the east side of the roadway. Unit 2 came to rest in the ditch on the west side of the roadway.
