This accident, involving 2 vehicles occurred on Sunday, December 6th 2020 at approximately 8:20 pm. The driver of blue Triumph (2000) not discernible. Injuries were reported. An officer from Oregon Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.
Unit #1 was northbound on N Stadium Rd approaching Bayshore Rd. Unit #2 was eastbound on Bayshore Rd approaching N Stadium Rd. on a motorcycle. The driver of Unit #1 stopped at the Stop Sign on Stadium before making a left turn to travel westbound on Bayshore Rd. As Unit #1 attempted the turn; he was struck on the driver side by Unit #2. Unit #1 rotated into the grass on the north side of Bayshore Rd. Unit #2 came to rest in the intersection. Both vehicles were disabled as a result of the crash. The driver of Unit #1 was transported to a local hospital. The driver of Unit #2 sustained fatal injuries. Witnesses stated Unit #2 was traveling at a high rate of speed but a mathematical speed determination has not been completed yet.
