Additional Narrative

Unit 3 was southbound on SR747; stopped at the red light at Union Centre Blvd. Unit 2 was also southbound on SR747; stopped behind Unit 3. Unit 1 was southbound on SR 747 and failed to maintain assurred clear distance ahead and struck Unit 2 on the right rear bumper. Unit 2 was pushed around Unit 3 and came to final rest on the south side of the intersection. Unit 1 ran off the road on the southwest corner of the intersection and struck a crosswalk post. Unit 3 appears to have been struck by debris from both vehicles. The driver of Unit 1 was pronounced dead at the hospital a short time later.
