Unit #1 was southwest on State Route 101. Unit #2 was northeast on State Route 101. Unit #1 crossed the centerline striking Unit #2 head on. Unit #1 ran off the right side of the roadway. Unit #2 ran off the right side of the roadway and struck a tree stump.
