This accident, involving 3 vehicles occurred on Friday, October 9th 2020 at approximately 3:04 pm. The driver of blue; dark Honda (2004) following too close / acda. Injuries were reported. Unit #1 was stopped southbound on SR-43 in the right lane with its flashers activated. Unit #2 was traveling north on SR-43 in the left lane with emergency lights and siren activated. Unit #3 was traveling south on SR-43 in the right lane. Unit #3 failed to maintain an assured clear distance ahead and struck the left rear of Unit #1. Unit #3 then traveled left of center into the northbound lane and struck Unit #2 head-on. Both Units #2 and #3 then traveled off the east-side of the roadway and Unit #2 overturned onto its passenger side.
