Unit 1 was traveling SB on SR 122 south of Somers Gratis Rd. A deer ran into the roadway causing Unit 1 to strike it with the left front of the motorcycle. Unit 1 then lost control and the motorcycle went down onto the right side and slid into the NB lane. Unit 2 was NB and struck the motorcycle and its driver after attempting to stop and swerve to avoid the collision. The driver of Unit 1 came to rest in the NB lane and Unit 1 came to final rest SE of the area of impact in the east ditch. Unit 2 pulled off the west side of the road after the collision.
