This accident, involving 2 vehicles occurred on Tuesday, September 15th 2020 at approximately 5:10 pm. The driver of white Sterling (2001) operating defective equipment. Injuries were reported. An officer from Turtle Creek (Township of) Police Department was present at the scene and recorded the information contained in this report.
Unit 1 stopped in the roadway and the driver exited to check for a possible air pressure loss. While below the vehicle; unit #1 began to roll backwards; pinning the driver below. Unit #1 continued to roll backwards with the driver trapped until coming to rest 85 feet away from the stopped point. The driver was extricated using the jack on the trailer and treated on the scene prior to be flown to a local trauma center.
